Income Protection Insurance is designed to help customers financially if they lose their regular monthly income, either by involuntary unemployment, temporary total disability due to accident or illness and total permanent disability until the benefit is exhausted or when it is restored to employment or health status. It gives security to its customers that they will be able to maintain their standard of living. Customers can choose the percentage of salary received in recent months, to be paid as a benefit to a limit and payments are made directly to your bank account.
Unemployed defined as “job seekers” receive Security Income, as long as they register with the Employment Office.Students who go to college are not entitled to Income Insurance. They should contact the Student Authority to confirm its rights to receive assistance through a loan.
The general period of eligibility for Income Insurance is up to the end of the first year from the date of immigration. The period of assistance is six months to a year.
Payment Security Income is not automatic but is done only once the immigrant has complied with all requirements.
The monthly payment is deposited into the bank account of the immigrant. If for some reason the immigrant has not received the amount in your account Security Income, you must contact the office .
